“As a United fan who lives down south, as well as a recent graduate who works at Sainsbury’s, it is hard to get to games, due to working weekends, and the expense of travel and accommodation, as well as the ticket costs.

“When I saw this competition from Football prizes, I knew I had to enter as for a mere £6.20 per entry, I had a chance of winning a dream VIP package to see the Manchester derby. I selected one number in the draw, number 20, which had significant meaning as a United fan, as United currently have 20 league titles.

“Though I had entered, I couldn’t believe it when I watched the draw unfold live on Facebook only to see my number come up. I was contacted the very next day by Football prizes to confirm my prize, and met them on the day of the game to collect my prize.

“The Lancashire suite VIP package gave me and my brother the chance to attend a three course meal at Old Trafford cricket ground, before the game. We were greeted by champagne on arrival, a meet and greet with a former United player, a free bar, an amazing three course meal, and a free gift bag and programme for the game.

“We also had the chance to socialise with other fellow United fans from across the world, including completing a table quiz, and amazingly we were put on a table with a couple from the exact same town, down south. As each course of the meal came, they just kept getting better and all three courses were absolutely amazing, and the customer service was exceptional. At the end of the meal, it was almost game time and a quick walk to the ground, had us in our seats in time for kick off. We had an amazing view, and being VIP, even had padded seats.

“The atmosphere at the ground was amazing, with the Old Trafford crowd in full voice, which seemed to really inspire the United team, and saw United battle to a 2-0 win in the derby, to paint the city red. After the game, we returned to the cricket club for cheese and biscuits, as well as taking further advantage of the free bar, and celebrating the win.

“With the Manchester derby growing in importance, and as a United fan, it was a dream to attend the Theatre of dreams to see United beat City in the derby.

“I really can’t thank Football prizes enough, as it was an unforgettable experience that I will never forget, and a complete dream come true.”
