Congratulations to Mat Ryan who won the 1972 squad signed Leeds United FA Cup Centenary shirt, in last month's draw in aid of St Gemma's Hospice.

Mat, a Leeds fan who lives in Sheffield, was delighted to win a prize that meant so much - with his dad having attended the FA Cup Final that year to see Leeds triumph over Arsenal.

The shirt was signed by Elland Road legends: Allan Clarke Jack Charlton, Paul Reaney, Norman Hunter, David Harvey, Johnny Giles, Eddie Gray, Mick Bates, Mick Jones and Peter Lorimer.

In a double win for Mat, a second place prize - of a signed Norman Hunter testimonial programme - was also clinched by the Whites fan.

Speaking after winning the prize, Mat said: "I was watching the draw and couldn’t believe it when my number came out.

"How do you describe it? Double joy I suppose."

He added: "I’m a Leeds fan and my old man actually went to the game so I have a programme from the day too. I’ll be getting it all framed together."
